ALL Pro's Race for FREE in the Top Gun race.
Top Gun Pro-Am
-there will no longer be 250 Pro or 450 Pro class
Free Entry
-All pro riders will race the Top Gun for free (must have & show AMP card proving pro status)
-All Am riders (Int. & Nov) will be allowed to race the Top Gun class
for free as long as rider has paid and entered their regular class.
Riders can ride 250cc or 450cc motorcycle in this class riders choice.
All riders that are racing the free Top Gun race must sign-up for the
event before the races start the day of the event.
Format
-Riders will race in a Supercross style format. Based on number of entries,
there will be heats and lcq's to determine and
qualify the 16 riders who will race in the Top Gun Main Event
-Top Gun Main Event will be a 15 lap final ran from the starting gate
-Heat races will be 8 laps. LCQ will be 6 laps. A cap of 45 riders for this class
Pro's get 1st priority Int 2nd and Nov 3rd to fill the class
Purse
-Each week riders will race for a $1500 purse
(1st-$500, 2nd-$400, 3rd-$300, 4th-$200, 5th-$100)
-Any Am rider that finishes inside the top 5 will earn
AMP dollars so not to ruin a riders classification status
Raffle Tickets
-Each week spectators can get involved in the Top Gun by purchasing $1 raffle tickets.
Before the Start of the Top Gun Main Event raffle tickets will be drawn by the
top four qualifiers by fastest lap times of the night.
The 5th ticket drawn by AMP the spectator with the macthing ticket will get the rest
of the riders in the top gun event.
The rider who wins the Top Gun final and the spectator
who has that riders matching raffle ticket will split the money!
Top Gun Championship Series End Bonus
-Riders must compete in 7 of the 8 rounds to qualify for the Championship bonus.-Only your best 7 finishes count towards the Championship points
-Championship bonus is $1500 split between top 3 overall finishers
(1st-$750, 2nd-$500, 3rd-$250)
Points- 1st-25, 2nd-22, 3rd-20, 4th-18, 5th-16, 6th-15, 7th-14
8th-13, 9th-12, 10th-11, 11th-10, 12th-9, 13th-8, 14th-7, 15th-6
